DEAR AFRICANS

Image
As members of our community, we share a common heritage, culture, and values.   But what truly unites us is our dedication to working together to create a better future. When we support one another and collaborate on projects, we can accomplish great things. Our community is unique and has so much to offer the world.  But we can only achieve our full potential if we are united in our goals and efforts. Let's put aside our differences and focus on what we have in common. Let's work together to make our community a shining example for others to follow. When we unite as a community, the benefits are countless.  We can foster economic growth by creating jobs, attracting new businesses, and supporting local entrepreneurs. By working together to improve infrastructure, we can make our community more livable and accessible for everyone. We can also provide better education opportunities by investing in schools and other educational resources. And by sharing our diverse perspecti...

MAISOLAR, THE FORMS OF GOODNESS, CREDIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY.

Image
By:  Comr. DABO EUCLID AMMEL .  Transparency, Credibility and accountability are interconnected, forming a symbiotic relationship that propels a leader to greatness. A credible leader gains trust, and with trust comes the expectation of accountability.  It is so unfortunate that  for many years, our people have been voting the worst sets of individuals in Kaura LGA as leaders, am excluding BABA MAI SOLAR, BANTEX of Blessed memory on this. The results of all the rotten activities carried out due to the actions and in actions of some misguided Youths and also some elders in Kaura LGA is the reason why we keep on producing people like  Mr 'Unfortunate' as LGA executives.  In the realm of leadership, two indispensable qualities stand out as pillars for success: credibility and accountability. A good leader is not merely someone who holds a position of authority, but one who inspires trust and takes responsibility for His or Her actions.  Credibility ...

PLEASURE BY: DABO EUCLID AMMEL

Image
Dabo Euclid Ammel ( M. Ed Philosophy, PDE, B. A. Philosophy) Sensual Pleasure yields negative charges; such effects are sensual, material, mutable and not permanent. True pleasure can only be gotten through self-realization, as one manipulates concepts, noise and nature towards actualizing his or her potentialities. Without negating the basic "realities” of life, true pleasure can't be found in material things. Not in a hobby, fantasies or some dogmas. True pleasure is achievable only through improving oneself via continues voyage of discovering truth (self realization). Am a pragmatist and a social reconstructionist. From my experiences so far I realize that what gives a form of pleasure that is immaterial, infallible, immutable and eternal is KNOWLEDGE. Fantasies are sensual and temporal, these are only opiates.  Developing your potentials first academically helps to build that quest for truth in you; such will help you to always realize that there are many t...

Goodbye, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia – by Farooq Kperogi

Image
Dr Obadiah Mailafia The death of Dr. Obadiah Mailafia on September 19 touched me more deeply than I thought it would. He was an exceptionally smart, conciliatory, and gracious man who, in spite of appearances to the contrary, had no space for hate and grudges in his heart. He and I publicly clashed on at least two occasions. On both occasions, it was he, a much older person, who privately initiated reconciliation with me. Our first clash happened in 2016 at an online forum called the USAAfrica Dialogue Series where he expressed what I thought were unfair, conspiratorial, facts-free, anti-Muslim opinions. I challenged him with counter facts. Dr Farouk Kperogi Instead of responding to me on the forum, he reached out privately and admitted that said his thought-processes were probably distorted by the personal tragedies he had suffered in the hands of mass murderers who were Muslims. He shared photos of his relatives who had been murdered but assured me that he had...
